DropKaffe a bangalore based startup has raised a pre series funding of $550,000 from GrowthStory, Naukri CEO Hitesh Oberoi, Primac Group Director Sidharth Pansari, Apurva Salapuria, Nirupa Shankar, Brigade Group and Kanwal of Fireside Ventures. It’s an on-demand ready to drink beverage startup.
It was founded in 2015 by Lakshmi Dasaka, Rakshit Kejriwal, Amar Yashlaha and Chaitanya Chitta. In the next 3 – 4 months the team is planning to expand their business in Chennai and Hyderabad. The funding will be used to increase their production capacity, talent acquisition and marketing.

“they are aggressively ramping up their distribution and availability across several modern trade outlets like Godrej Nature’s Basket, HyperCity, Namdhari’s and FoodWorld and even food delivery and hyperlocal platforms like Swiggy, Grofers, Faasos and BigBasket.”

“We are excited to have some awesome investors who understand the consumer space very well. Our goal is to build a pan-India dairy-based beverage brand and this funding helps us to accelerate our growth plans”
DropKaffe change their menu daily providing freshly prepared coffee including snacks such as bakes, burgers and non-caffeine beverages. Coffiato is their first product in their ready-to-drink category.
Like Drodkaffe many beverage brands raised funding in past few months. Chaayos, a NCR based startup raised $5 million in funding from Tiger Global. ChaiPoint, raised $10 million in funding from Eight road ventures. Teabox from Siliguri has raised $6 million from Accel partners.
